EDUCAŢIA RELIGIOASĂ ŞI ÎMPĂRĂŢIA LUI DUMNEZEU
Abstract
The Kingdom of God is the expression of God’s will concerning creation, the central theme and the main purpose of the preaching and life of our Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, when an educational activity aims immediately to strengthening people in the Christian faith, the ultimate goal of such an education is the promotion of the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Undoubtedly, preaching Christ as Lord and Savior automatically implies the preaching of the Kingdom of God. Both themes must be constantly in our sermons as well as in religious education. The Church belongs to the new eon of the Kingdom of Messiah, which in relation to this world is the kingdom of the coming age. That is why it is not from this world; but yet the Church exists in the world in this eon. In Christ, the Kingdom entered this world and exists in it through the Church. From the perspective of this world, it is something of the future; in God it is eternal and present as well as the future. Spiritual education in its kerygmatic or educational form is an ecclesial reality, on the one hand it can not be understood without the Church, and on the other hand the Church can not be built and can not be conceived without spiritual education. Between spiritual education and the Church there is a relationship of reciprocity and complementarity. The kingdom of God is expecting from us constant transformation, metanoia. That inner transformation must change us externally to God through our neighbor.
