SEMNIFICAŢIILE TEOLOGICE ALE SLAVEI LUI DUMNEZEU ÎN CARTEA PROFETULUI IEZECHIEL
Abstract
The glory of the Lord (kavod) it’s a way in wich God reveals Himself, becomes perceptible to our human senses. This research aims to identify some events of divine glory in the Book of the prophet Jeremiah. The reader will observe that in this biblical book the divine glory represents a very important element. Through this, God expresses his presence in his people life. Unlike Isaiah, the theophany of the glory in which God is shown to the prophet Ezekiel is meant to preach the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. Because of the wickedness, God proclaims to the people that He will withdraw His glory from the Temple. The discourse of the prophet Ezekiel ends with an unprecedented perspective on the new temple, and with that announcement that divine glory will return and reside on Zion, with the reservation that the people will realize their sin.
